Dead pixel vs stuck pixel.

Dead pixels and stuck pixels are easier to see when the screen shows simple colours instead of real content.

A dead pixel usually stays dark on bright panels. It can look like a tiny black speck that does not move when content changes.

A stuck pixel stays bright or locked to one colour. Pure red, green, and blue panels help reveal sub-pixel faults.

Bleed, glow, and clouding are panel uniformity issues. They are usually visible on black or dark grey panels, not as one sharp pixel.

Clean the display first, inspect slowly, and judge whether a defect is visible in real use before making a return decision.
