Purpose: Free browser-based online screen test for monitors, laptops, tablets, and phones.

Pixy runs a local browser-based display test. It checks screen resolution, device pixel ratio, colour depth, colour gamut, HDR support, approximate refresh rate, panel uniformity patterns, and frame timing stability.

Pixy helps users inspect dead pixels, stuck pixels, backlight bleed, dirty-screen effect, banding, tint shifts, HDR support, refresh mismatch, text sharpness, and practical display suitability.

Pixy runs in the browser. It does not require signup, upload, camera access, or hardware permissions. Pixy uses privacy-friendly Vercel Web Analytics for page views and basic product events.

Important limitations:
- Pixy cannot identify exact monitor model, serial number, maker, panel type, true brightness, true contrast ratio, factory calibration, or true pixel response time.
- Pixy is a practical browser screen profile, not a lab calibration certificate.
- Dead pixel and uniformity inspection requires the user to look at the screen.
